AVERY DENNISON DIALOGUE ISSUE #1
A Newer, Better Dialogue

Dear Customer,

In this first issue of Dialogue for 2016, I would like to wish you all the best for a very successful 2016. My name is Anil Sharma, and I am the VP/GM of Materials Group South Asia Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa (SAPSSA).

Avery Dennison recently took the strategic move to divide the former Asia Pacific region into North and South, with the new SAPSSA organization a broad region incorporating New Zealand, Australia, ASEAN, India and Sub-Saharan Africa. This new flatter, more streamlined region will allow us to connect and respond to your needs with greater speed and effectiveness. Fundamentally we are committed to finding new ways to help you grow, sustainably.
This issue of Dialogue includes an interview with Naveen Serraro, who leads our Avery Dennison Knowledge Center facility, and a technical bulletin on the challenges of adhering to various coatings applied to glass beverage containers.
We also introduce new portfolio solutions for the consumer electronics segment - as well as our Global Service Laboratory and Durable help desk, to simplify and accelerate attaining UL recognition and solve technical challenges.
The recent release of our Select Solutions range now frames our broad range of products into simplified application-based portfolios. The intent of this is to enable our customers to find the right product for specialty opportunities, with greater speed and ease.. And with our commitment to sustainability, we profile our ever expanding range of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified products.
My team and I look forward to sending through more exciting updates and sharing new innovations in future issues.
ANIL SHARMA,
Vice President and General Manager,
Materials Group,
South Asia Pacific & Sub-Saharan Africa
